About the Department / Introduction : It is to submit that, our Fire Service Department giving Services through 03 permanent Fire Stations and One Fire out post. We are not only attending Fire Accident Calls, but also attending Disasters and Rescue Calls, which are being occurred in Warangal District.

Activities of the Department :
Telangana State Disaster Response and Fire Services Department is an emergency Services Department. The Officers and personnel are available 24 hours at each Fire Station to discharge their duties in all emergency situations like attending Fire calls, Rescue from floods, any road accidents, save the humans and animals those drown into water etc.,. We are conducting public awareness Campaigns, Demonstrations to sensitize the General Public viz., Houses, Schools, Colleges, Hospitals, Function Halls, and Cinema Theaters etc and conducting one Mock Drill by each Fire Station on every Friday at Schools, Colleges and Hospitals. We also conduct fire service week during the month of April,14th to 20th of every year regularly for Fire safety awareness to the General Public.
Services offered to the Citizens :
This Department issue No Objection Certificates to the Educational Buildings, Cinema Theatres, Religious buildings, Temporary / Permanent Fire Crackers shops / Godowns, Function halls and Multi storied buildings and also Renew the No Objection Certificates, Advise to provide firefighting equipment to install a Petrol Bunk, construct Commercial buildings with mixed occupancies, construction of Hospitals etc., This department will perform Standby duties during the visits of VIPs / VVIPS, Medaram Sammakka Saralamma Jatharas.
