Introduction of Department:
Sericulture is an agro based industry and preferred alternate cash crop to the farming community. This farmers gets monthly income and predominantly a women-centric and less demand on chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

Organizational Structure :
Activities of the Department :
- Identification of news farmers and motivation to extending sericulture new clusters for the benefit of rural poor.
- To support of advanced technology through mechanization and better to improve quality
- Providing Technical guidance to old and new farmers i.e., every day at time of Silk worm rearings.
- Extension of Sericulture by Training programmes
- Supporting in marketing harvest of cocoons production by the farmers.
