Warangal is connected well to major cities of India by rail. Warangal is a major railway junction on the Hyderabad-New Delhi and Chennai-Kolkata route. Auto-rickshaws and buses are available from the station.
By Road:
Warangal is well connected by road. Warangal is connected by long-distance deluxe buses from Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Tirupati, Anantapur, Hubli, and Belgaum. Direct buses connect Hyderabad to Warangal every 15 mins and it takes about three hours from the state capital.
Best time to visit Warangal:
The best time to visit the city is from October to March as the weather is quite pleasant during this period. However, tourists do visit during March to May as well. From June to September the region experiences heavy monsoon. Many tourists visit the city during festivals such as Bathukamma, Id-ul-Fitr, Sammakka-Sarakka Jatara, Dussehra, and Deepavali.
